SUPER 51
How to play Super 51
Build your hand, weigh your options and choose your moment to finish.
Learn your first hand. Get sharper with every round. There is no 51-point opening requirement: complete your hand and discard your final card.
Aim of the game
Complete your 14-card hand, then discard the fifteenth card to finish. There is no requirement to open with 51 points.
Tables offer 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11 hands. The lowest total score wins the match and the reward shown for that table. A tied team match continues with extra hands until there is a winner.
The deck contains two standard 52-card packs and two printed Jokers: 106 cards in total. A losing hand’s penalty is multiplied by the table’s ground multiplier and the winner’s finish multiplier.
Dealing and the indicator
The dealer rotates each hand. After the deck is shuffled and cut, cards are dealt counterclockwise in pairs. Each player receives 14 cards; the player to the dealer’s right receives a fifteenth card and starts.
The face-up indicator determines the real Okey: the next rank in the same suit. The dealer is marked D. Declaring your indicator on your first turn gives it a special use in a pairs finish and partial-pairs penalties; it does not award bonus points.
Okey and printed Jokers
If the indicator is the 7 of hearts, the 8 of hearts is the real Okey. A real Okey can replace another card in a valid run, set or pair.
A printed Joker represents only the real Okey’s fixed suit and rank. It is not a wildcard. In the example above, a printed Joker acts as the 8 of hearts.
Discarding a printed Joker does not count as an Okey finish. Only discarding a real Okey gives that finish.
Runs, sets and pairs
A run has at least three consecutive cards of the same suit, such as hearts 5–6–7. A set has three or four cards of the same rank in different suits. A pair consists of two cards with the same suit and rank.
You cannot finish by discarding the card you just took from the discard pile. You may use it in your hand and finish by discarding a different card. To keep an already complete hand and discard the new card to finish, draw from the deck.
Common questions
When can I use the indicator? Declare it on your first turn. It may then pair with any card for a pairs finish or partial-pairs penalty. The lowest valid penalty is selected. Bots can use the same right. There is no extra points bonus. Without a declaration, it remains an ordinary card.
What is Pairs + Okey? Finish a valid pairs hand by discarding a real Okey.
How do I play a card? Tap once to select and tap again slowly to deselect. A quick double tap discards when the turn allows it. You can also use the explicit play action for the selected card.
Can I take a card back? A card taken from the discard pile can be returned using the return action when it is offered. Follow the table’s current turn controls; waiting does not pause the turn clock.
